So I stopped by this place bec I wanted to grab some food to go and was at the little Asian mall to pick up some goodies for my kids. I yelped a place really quick and Kim Hung popped up. I walked in and was able to grab some yummy goodies to go along with some gifts for a New Year's party this weekend. Everything looked delicious and priced pretty fair. As I was leaving, (I assume) the owner was so sweet and chatty and asked me if it was my first time here (which it was). She then gave me a sample of her Pate Chaud to try and that they were famous for. It was kind of her and didn't think anything of it. Well I tried it in the car and I ALMOST TURNED THE CAR AROUND to buy more. It was so freaking good, delightful, sweet but savory, a party in my mouth. Holy hell. What and how?! Cannot wait to come back to this place and place an order!

For 2024 New Year's Eve, I was able to text Katie with my call ahead order: 12 Banh Pate So (Pate Chaud) $18; 50 Egg Rolls $50; 25 Count-Chicken Wings $40; Texting Katie was so easy and convenient and this way I was guaranteed getting my hands on those Pate So that sells out daily so quickly! The ordering was process is the way to go, especially if one can only speak English, like me. Once I gave texted Katie my order, she confirmed the order and sent me a photo of my invoice. My total was $108 for the order referenced above. Accurate and painless, coupled with awesome customer service!! Katie even sent me a photo of their price list that I now have an easy way to know what is offered and the pricing. I arrived at the pre-determined pick up date and time. Katie was there to greet me and advise me the staff was just finishing up preparing/wrapping my trays for the long journey home to keep warm. All of the trays were carefully wrapped and easy to transport. Katie also threw in a few extra goodies for me to try and to apologize that the Pate So was not available on my first visit. I really appreciated Katie's thoughtfulness and kind gesture as a small business owner where every penny counts. One of the goodies she gave me was a couple of Pate So for the road. At first, I intended on bringing them home so both the wife and I could try them at the same time. Well, that was a short lived notion. I grabbed one from the to-go bag and took my first bite in the parking lot. Holy crap, I think the heavens opened up with angels singing as my eyes rolled up into my head. Wow, what a great tasting Pate So! A generously meat filled baked buttery delicate dough pillow of deliciousness!! Yeah, sorry honey, these damn things were so good, I wolfed down the second one before I drove out of the parking lot. My family had the same ethereal experience I did. I was lucky to get one more before the family devoured them all. The same with the chicken wings. These Asian style fried wings were one of the most delectable fried wings any of us had ever had. The wings had a delicate yet memorable coating and the wing meat itself was properly cooked and juicy. Katie was right the extra fried coating crumbs in the bag were just as tasty as the wings. I'm gonna take her up on her suggestion of having those fried crumblings sprinkled on their fried rice that is offered there too. The egg rolls were equally yummy as the first time I bought some as mentioned in my first review of Kim Huong. I am so glad that I was able to get ahold of those infamous Pate So and chicken wings! Thank-you Katie for your kindness and looking forward to visiting Kim Huong in the near future!

This is our second time here .. I bought 2boxes of pork bun which is delicious.. pork puff and egg roll s are amazing .. the owner gave 2 desert to try .. so good.. Highly recommend... this is my happy to go place now.

This was my husband and my first time going to kim huong and trying most of these Vietnamese dishes! Katie was so helpful and kind. We ordered ahead based on the comments that said everything runs out by 12pm and initially ordered party tray sizes big enough for 13-15 people, not realizing they were party trays (when we were just looking to feed 2-3 people). Katie was so kind to clarify portion size when she could've allowed the party tray sale to happen or upsell us. I never felt pushed to buy more and she also helped us find the items we were looking for! And the food did not disappoint. Literally, every single item that we ate was so good: - banh bot loc: texture was so amazing (chewy and addicting) and sauce wasnt too sweet! I could eat a whole tray of these. Maybe i shouldve gotten a party tray. - banh beo: mellow and light! - lotus salad: sweet, refreshing, crispy - pate chaud: i will be ordering a party tray of these next time. Warm and flaky. - nem chua: love the bird's eye chilly with the sweet, tangy meat - pandan dessert: ill be getting 5 of these next time

Came here for the honeycomb cake and it did not disappoint. I also got a bahn mi and the proportions of all the ingredients were pretty much perfect. Thank you, Katie for the great service.

If you're anywhere near Little Saigon you have to try Kim Huong!! It's the perfect place to get your Vietnamese bites to go. The pork pate is an absolute must DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT GETTING SOME. We ordered 14 and then immediately regretted not getting more so we went back and they were already sold out before we left the plaza. We waited for the next batch to be done before actually leaving the parking lot. Definitely recommend pre ordering to ensure you get some. The bun bao is nothing like any other bun baos even the bun had flavor most times it just tastes so plain but this one was amazing with the filling have a great taste and flavor. Katie was so friendly and welcoming recommending things for us to try and she was spot on! Definitely going back before we leave back to Tampa.

There are sooo many options in the area when it comes to ordering party trays, but I love going to Kim Huong for their value and service! *Food* Kim Huong has many food options at fair prices. What sets this place apart from the rest is the quality of their food (and service, see below)!Everything I have ever ordered from there has been good -- spring rolls, patechaud (pate so), banh cuon. *Service* The staff there is very nice. They have always been able to accommodate my same-day orders, but I strongly recommend that you call to place your order ahead of time. Don't expect to have too many available options if you're just going to walk in, because while they do have many, the trays are quick to go! Deposits are required for catering orders. They accept both credit and cash, but there is a $10 min for credit card transactions. I most recently placed an order for a tray of patechaud. I called at 8:30am. Katie was super friendly and helpful. She sent me a full menu with prices and made the ordering process very clear, smooth and easy. When I arrived at 10:45am, the patechaud were piping hot. Everyone at the party commented on how yummy and well-portioned they were. (Thanks again, Katie!) *Ambiance* Strictly a to-go spot. Not a sit-down. *Location/Parking* They are in the corner of a large plaza, along with several other restaurants, shops, bakeries, and a grocery store. Kim Huong is located closest to the BofA. While the parking lot is huge, parking does still get crazy during holidays and weekends.

Customer service is amazing!! They have a lot of variety of party trays at really good prices. Will definitely come here and order for another event

3.5/5 The one bun thit nuong ($10) was delicious. I forgot to take a picture, but it came with plenty of veggies, vermicelli, and pork. The regular com chien was good when you had a portion with all the toppings. It seems like you get a base layer of rice without any toppings stirred in and the toppings are all placed at the top, so what you see is what you get. It would be nice if there were more toppings mixed in as there were many bites where you just had rice due to the portioning. Overall, the food was good but needed more protein for balance.

I came by to order some banh beo. The girl that was working there spoke both Vietnamese and English. She was very helpful and very sweet. I decided to order of 50 banh beo. It was ready in 15 minutes. I was so impressed. Each banh beo was sizeable and topped with dry shrimp, onions, and mung beans. The fish sauce was also included. I really enjoyed them for dinner for the next few evenings. They stayed good in the fridge. Yes, they harden a little bit but the microwave can soften them really quickly. The next time I'm in Westminster, I plan to drop by to pick up other items. Oh, and since it was my first time there, I was given a really yummy treat. I appreciated that gesture.
